Hi Rhys It was lovely to meet your cousin Indy at Kahoot. Did she help you with the answers, or did you work them out first. Did you enjoy your sleepover at Nana and Pops? Having a large extended family is so much fun. There is always someone to play with. I know I spent a lot of time with my cousins when I was young. Most of them were quite a bit older that I. They remember ame more than I remember them. Do you get to spend much time with your cousins? As a child I remember going to stay with my grandfather. he lived in a house down by the beach too. We would go to the beach and collect seaweed for his vegetable garden, or build dams in amongst the rock pools. The beaches here in Hokitika are quite different, there are no rock pools unless you go all the way to the Thirteen Mile. I used to love looking for all the creatures that lived in the pools. Have yo ever been to a beach with rock pools? I wonder why not many West Coast beaches do not have rock pools? Every time I go home to visit my Mother I always go back to the beaches I played on as a child and go for a big long walk.
