  1. By golly Rhys you and your family have been busy. the glasshouse you Luke and Dad built looks amazing. It looks like it as raised beds in it for the plants. Do you know why some gardeners choose to use raised beds for their plantings? What do you plan to plant in your glasshouse? Are you going to plant it up for the winter or wait until spring?
It reminds me of the glasshouse my parents had when I was a child. Ours was made of glass so we were not allowed to play near it with balls. Yours looks much more durable being made of plastic sheeting. Ours was huge, my mother had lines in it so she could use it to dry the washing when it was raining, no clothes dryers in those days. The only thing was during the summer our clothes came out smelling of tomatoes! We planted it all year round, my parents had to feed seven children! There was not such things as a supermarket when I was young. We went to the grocer (who sold basic groceries, milk, bread, and packet foods) the green grocer, where mum bought seasonal fruit, and then to the butcher to buy meat. Sometimes friends, who were farmers, gave us a mutton, or beef if they killed an animal.

Are you and Luke saving for something special with the money you make from selling kindling? It is such a good idea, as I know a lot of older people don't like to use an axe to chop wood. I must admit I am a bit lazy and buy firelighters from the supermarket to get my fire going. You do need to have very dry wood if you want to do that.
I see your motorbike is a Suzuki. What is the cc rating? Perhaps you can add to your post by telling your audience how long you have had your motorbike, where, and how often you ride it. Do you compete in dirt bike competitions.

I love the garden you have built. What do you plan on planting in it? I cannot wait to see it with some plants in it. Keep up the great work. Naomi
